Sew, Who Is Pat Lui?
Pat has lived in the Corona CA area for over 35 years. She began her teaching career with her Portraits in Oils classes in 1976.
She has had a passion for sewing and creating Wearble Art for well over 25 years. Innovative design is her driving ambition. She became fascinated with the concept of Faux Chenilletm 12 years ago and has succeeded in designing style of her very own, Quilted Chenilletm. This adaptable technique lends itself to many different items, from High Fashion women's jackets to durable children's clothes and accessories.
Pat's other passion is Making Dolls. She began making original cloth and polymer clay dolls in 1991. Not only has she sold hundreds of these One Of A Kind dolls, but she has, over the last 15 years, won 16 Blue Ribbons and Bests in Show.
Pat belongs to the American Sewing Guild and enjoys teaching classes, workshops and trunk shows all over California and the western United States. She will even be taking one of her workshops on to the open seas, for a quilter's cruise to the Mexican Riviera. Look in the Classes and Upcoming Events sections for information on that on other workshops she has coming up.
