Pat began designing Soft Cloth dolls in 1990 and sculpting dolls, in Polymer Clay, not long after. In 1995 she started entering her orignal dolls in competition at The Anaheim Convention Center in southern California. That year she won First Place for her clay sculpted dolls. She won First Place again in 1996, 1997 and also 1998.
For the 1999 competition, she added a cloth needle sculptured doll to her submissions and won Best in Show for it. She also won Best in Show for her clay sculpture that same year.
Though in recent years she has devoted a large part of her time to perfecting and teaching her Quilted Chenilletm technique, Pat has never lost the love of creating one of her original dolls. Doll classes are currently available throughout the rest of the year.
Pat's doll making repertoire includes, American Indian, Country, African American, Oriental and Victorian.
